Terms of Service

By accessing or using ShareSteak (the “Platform”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Platform.

These terms apply to all users, including buyers, merchants, and visitors who browse the marketplace.

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep it up to date.

Users who register as merchants must complete the verification process, which may include identity, business, financial, and food-handling checks. ShareSteak may approve, reject, suspend, or revoke merchant status at its discretion.

Merchants are solely responsible for the accuracy of their listings, the quality and safety of products they sell, compliance with applicable food-safety and labelling laws, and fulfilment of orders.

Prices are shown in the currency indicated at checkout and are inclusive of applicable taxes (e.g. GST) where stated. Shipping fees are calculated at checkout.

Payments are processed by our third-party payment provider (Stripe). ShareSteak does not store full payment card details.

Group purchases are fulfilled only when the group reaches its target. Pricing tiers may change as a group fills. If a group does not complete, eligible payments are handled in accordance with our refund practices.

Refund and cancellation eligibility depends on order status and the merchant’s policies. Perishable goods may be non-refundable once shipped except where required by law. Contact support or the merchant for refund requests.

You agree not to misuse the Platform, including by posting false listings, infringing intellectual property, attempting to gain unauthorized access, interfering with other users, or violating any applicable law.

The Platform is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, ShareSteak is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform.

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Platform. Your continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
